The Office of Instructional Technology and eLearning Solutions (ITeS) is part of Rutgers University's Office of Information Technology (OIT). We provide support for the University's MOODLE Learning Management System (LMS), and conduct training on the general and specialized discipline-specific uses of Moodle.
We also provide support for the following university-licensed software: Turnitin, Respondus, Adobe Connect, Kaltura, VoiceThread (all five integrated with Moodle), and iSpring Suite.
In collaboration with the various schools, departments and programs of the university, ITeS develops extended functionality for this open-source LMS to enhance the existing features and tools available for building effective eLearning courses.
Who we are and what we do
Our staff is made up of university employees and trained student assistants who collaborate with instructors to design engaging activities to supplement face-to-face classes and encourage active learning in online or hybrid classrooms by the use of relevant technologies.
